I have lost count of the number of Medical Mission's that Levy has joined forces with Sylvan Hills and Somers Avenue. This year the group will be going to Matamoras, Mexico. They will again be building houses, finishing construction on a meeting place for the church and having a medical and eye clinic. These efforts do good for a lot of people, but more importantly, there will be a crew of people having personal Bible studies with those coming to obtain services of the clinics being offered. In the past, these efforts have been very fruitful in helping with the growth of the local congregations. We anticipate the same being true this year as well. As has been the custom, these three congregations, as well as several other individuals from other area congregations, will meet for a joint worship service. This year the joint worship will be on July 6th at Somers Avenue. There will not be evening services here at Levy. July 13th Ice Cream Social The Bible Study group that meets in the auditorium on Sunday evening has planned a Cake and Ice Cream social following July 13th worship services. All other groups and or individuals are invited to come and join us for worship, followed by Home Made Ice Cream. If you choose, you can bring cake or toppings. We will meet in the Ministry Center at 5 pm. Come join us; you will be glad you did!
