Wednesday Studies
There has been a slight adjustment in the Auditorium class for the summer. The Study on Acappella singing was scheduled to begin the last week of August and continue through most of September. That study has begun and will continue at least through the month of August.
Catfish for Lunch
Thanks to Bob and Jon Mark and the Hopper/Stevens Catfish farm we will be having Catfish Lunch for the Levy family on August 17th following morning worship. This event is always one of the favorites for the Levy family. The Hoppers generosity is greatly appreciated.
Silencing of God
For years we have heard a lot regarding the "separation of church and state." Is that statement in the Constitution or The Bill of Rights? Did the founding fathers advocate "separation of church and state"? Did they reject expressions of Christianity in government and public schools?
A DVD series is now available that documents examples of how our nation was actually founded on Biblical priniciples, more specifically , Christian principles, and how that influence continued in education and many other daily activities in America.
You may not agree with all the suggestions as what to do that Dr. Dave Miller, the presenter, will come to; but the facts leading up to his conclusions and suggestions are indisputable. I think you will find his series very informative. They are worth the time and effort that it takes in watching and listening. Each cassette contains two DVD's and the cost of each cassette is five dollars.
