We have been supporting preachers in Cuba for many years. The government has tried to make it very difficult to get support money in. In the past, the United States allowed Americans to obtain special licenses to enter Cuba for "religious activities" and another license to bring money into Cuba. Levy has had a license for a few years and many have traveled under it. The United States government has made it more difficult to obtain or renew these licenses. After both our licenses were denied repeatedly, they have finally been renewed. We are able to enter Cuba legally and send money. This is a huge blessing. It has become increasingly difficult to help those in Cuba. Pray that we retain our ability to go into Cuba to spread the Word. Although we have local people in Cuba working, they need encouragement from us and visits from Americans are one way to give this encouragement. Also, visits make it easier to get money into Cuba. If you have questions about the work in Cuba, you may contact one of the missions committee members or contact Gene Carr. Please keep Cuba missions in your prayers this week and pray for the following: Sunday - Relationship with God Monday - Physical and emotional strength Tuesday - Family relationships Wednesday - Ability to communicate Thursday - Effective Ministry Friday - Pray for the team they work with Saturday - Pray for the country the missionaries are serving in
